Handcrafted herbal body oils made with lots of love! We infuse organic olive oil with herbs and flowers grown on our farm or otherwise sustainably wildcrafted by us here in Minnesota. We use a trace amount of organic cane alcohol to help extract the herbal constituents and keep the oil shelf stable. Our infusion process takes time and we always aim for the most potent & magical oils.
Our Bleeding Sun oil is infused with the flowering tops of St. John's Wort, both grown on our farm and wildcrafted. We harvest when the plant is at its peak in July. The oil takes on a dark reddish brown color reminiscent of the redness the flower leaves behind when crushed in between the fingers, hence the name "Bleeding Sun".
St. John's Wort is calming to the nervous system and brings warmth to the body by harvesting the energy of the sun.
