CSA Terms &  Conditions

Terms

Prairie Rose Farm and Floral will provide one (1) wrapped floral bouquet to each CSA member during the CSA period they have chosen, (Spring Share: 4 weeks, Bi-Weekly Sampler Share: 4 weeks, Full Summer Share: 14 weeks, Fall Share: 6 weeks, or Full Summer + Fall Share: 17 weeks). This will be done in exchange for a contribution of $30 a week. We include a card processing fee of 3% with each purchase, which is no more than we are required to pay in fees when processing online payments. (17 weeks: $525.30, 14 weeks: $432.60, 4 weeks: $123.60, 6 weeks: $185.40 plus additional tax.) Should you wish to pay by check, we welcome offline payments to avoid these card processing fees. To do so, please choose "offline payment" at checkout and we will email you with how to proceed with the price excluding the card processing fee.

 

Payment

Your CSA membership is to be paid in full on the website by credit card or by cash or check byApril 15th 2025. You understand that unless paid in full by the start date, you will not be a member and will not receive a flower share.

 

Refunds

We do not offer refunds. A CSA is about commitment to a local farmer and our commitment to you. If you have made a purchase and no longer want to receive your share, you have the option to find someone else to take your CSA spot or forfeit your share.

 

Expectations

1. I agree to arrive at my pick-up location on time or give advanced notification if I am unable to do so. I also understand that Prairie Rose Farm and Floral has a tight schedule and is using other local business’s space, which makes us unable to hold flowers past designated pick-up days/times.

2. If I am unable to pick-up at the designated time or I do not contact the farm to make alternate arrangements before my pick-up time, the weekly share will be forfeit as a result and the flowers will be donated to a staff member.

3. If I pick-up at the farm, I agree to come every week on the same day. If I am unable to pick up my flowers on the designated day or I do not contact the farm to make alternate arrangements before my scheduled day I agree that my weekly share will be forfeit as a result.

4. I understand that my flowers are a live, perishable product - and that any vase life is not guaranteed. More information on taking care of your flowers to ensure the longest possible vase life is available on our website.

5. I understand that the weekly flower share will be composed of a variety of what is seasonally available and that no specific flowers, colors, or varieties can be promised or guaranteed.

6. I understand that the weekly flower share is not intended for edible or topical use. I understand that materials may be irritating, toxic, or poisonous if ingested by humans or pets, and I agree to hold Prairie Rose Farm and Floral free of liability. If I have any questions, I will ask them as soon as possible.

7. If there is anything that is questionable I will give Prairie Rose Farm and Floral the opportunity to make it right by providing me with another available item at no cost to me. We will do our best to answer and address your questions.

8. I understand that by becoming a member I am sharing in the risk and rewards of the growing season. I realize there is an element of unpredictability with pests, disease, weather, and other unforeseen circumstances that may contribute or detract from the production of materials, and I understand that my flower share may be subject to these factors. In the event of a catastrophic farm failure, we will do our best to adapt to the situation but we cannot guarantee this as is the nature of farming.

9. I will automatically be added to our email list and I promise to stay subscribed to it for as long as I am a paying member of the CSA. It is very important to read the emails since we use it to communicate with you as a customer and to inform you of any changes or updates.

The best way to get in contact with us is through email info@prairierosefarmandfloral.com or by phone (218)-382-0050. We will respond to you as soon as possible.​
I have read all of the above and understand the membership agreement. I understand and agree to pay in the full amount prior to the CSA start dates. I agree to pick up my CSA share each week at the designated time for my chosen pick-up site. If I am unable to pick-up on a given week, I will directly communicate with Prairie Rose at least 24 hours prior to my designated site's pickup times. If I DO NOT pick up my flowers on my designated day without prior arrangement, I understand that they will NOT be held for a later date and I will not be refunded for the missed bouquet. I understand that I am committed to the full length of the season and that my commitment is for the entire season. I have had the opportunity to read over the contract and ask any questions of the business prior to entering into this contract.
